So please don't be too hard ;) Here we go: The switch to DTV is done and everybody is (hopefully) happy with his digital TV. Now what is planned in the US for digital radio? I am planning to buy a new car stereo and am not willing to buy an analog FM/AM radio if I know already that next year the service stops. I know about satellite radio (I hate subscriptions!) and HD Radio. But will there be a forced switch to digital (HD?) ? BTW... how do you guys handle traffic information here (I am used to radio stations providing traffic information every 30 or 15 minutes and the radio is interrupting CD/MP3 for the broadcast)? Why are the RDS features not used?!??! Let me rephrase... why are the RDS features not used in a meaningful way (AF, EON, REG, TA/TP, TMC...)?! Or am I simply missing something? I was wondering if there were any other Ubuntu users out there? Several of us in the Ubuntu loco were wondering if there might be any interest in a small get together of a social nature?
