Several New Software Engineering Positions have become available between
three established, reputable corporations in the Raleigh, NC area.
Below are the different skills sets and job descriptions Aerotek's
clients are looking to find qualified candidates for.  

Embedded Linux Software Engineer 
This opening is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. This position is
needed to create low level code. 
Requirements:
1+ years ARM experience
Linux experience
C experience
Preferred:
Assembler and/or RTOS experience

Java/Eclipse Software Engineer
This opening is a 6 month contract opportunity. This Software Engineer
will create an Eclipse plug-in that will communicate with a device
driver and will display low level data.
Requirements:
2+ years experience with JAVA
Linux experience
C experience
Embedded Systems knowledge is required
Preferred:
Eclipse plug-in experience (development)

Linux Device Driver Software Engineer
This opening is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. This Linux
Device Driver Software Engineer will create a device driver in Linux. 
Requirements:
3+ years experience with Linux Internals (device drivers, kernel, etc)
Linux experience
C experience
Preferred:
Experience with performance and debugging tools

Embedded Software Engineer
This is for a 6 month contract to hire position.  This software engineer
will write embedded C code and perform test and verification of code.
Requirements:
BSEE, BSCE or BSCS
2+ years of embedded C experience, microcontrollers (32 bit)

Embedded Software Developer
This is a Direct Placement position.  This software engineer will design
and develop embedded applications for a product family.  He/she will be
doing embedded Linux Kernel driver development as well.
Requirements:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
3+ years experience of embedded system development (1 year in a Linux
environment)
Experience building and patching Linux kernels for embedded systems
