Would like multiple
domains on one server.....but NOT through just Apache name
virtualization....I want to separate them into their own Virtual Machine
so if someone goes wrong - it won't take down the whole box....just their
VM

then I'd have
to setup Apache on the VM host??=A0 probably not a good idea, right?

and forward from the host to the guests.
understood...this is a
secondary issue....will cross that bridge when necessary

paying megabucks is
probably not gonna work...this is a small hosting operation among
friends......have been thinking about using OpenVZ - any thoughts?

special setups?
don't have just one IP address....but, like I
said above, it's a small operation - we have 5 static IPs...but need to
host about 8 different environments.....AND when one blows up - it won't
take down the whole server.....also like the idea of being able to move
live servers between hardware.
Users will probably need root
access and, like I said, we have about 8 different hosting environments we
need to host (more than we have IP space for).
Thanks in
advance........with the rise in Virtual Machines - I wouldn't think this
would be this hard....all the docs I'm finding are really old?
