Pro:  it may introduce operating systems to users that are unaware of 
anything other than MicroSoft.  If possible, include BSD's, Darwin, Solaris.

Con:  as a Linux Users Group, it may violate the charter.

If there's no way around the con, then a compromise could include having 
meetings at the same place, with an hour differential.
