[Charlug] new affiliation with PC3.org

Hi Don,
   
  I thought you should be apprised of the new proposal on our table, to affiliate our club with Personal Computer Club of Charlotte. Through Pat, CharLUG was invited by the PCCC to become a SIG of its larger organization. So maybe we should toss this idea around a while unless it poses a violation to our basic charter.  
   
  It would seem both groups could benefit by increased membership. And I think it would be a blast to have a Linux Installfest with the greater PC3 membership, considering the inevitably higher competence, interest and motivation of computer enthusiasts.
   
  What do you think? (pro and con)
