[Charlug] hi everyone

I just stumbled across this groups site while browsing linux.org and thought
I'd check things out.  Having never admittedly been part of a LUG but having
used linux in some fashion or another for 13 years now(my first install was
SLS, an ancient linux distro), I just might fit in ;-).

Myself, I'm a "unix" administrator by trade which as I'm sure alot of you
know means Linux, Solaris, AIX, and any other *IX you can think of.  I've
worked my way up from a community college SunOS 4.1.4 lab admin to a unix
admin of several hundred unix-based servers for a local company.

When not tearing my hair out over those servers I just like to tinker with
them at home.  Basically a calmer extension of my work, along with more
relaxing things like just enjoying nature, a nice cookout, a walk in the
evenings, etc.

I can't say I've ever been much into computer groups of any kind but it
seems like something I'd enjoy so I thought I would check this group out.
Hopefully things will grow well from here!
