[Charlug] Incorporation Status

I am very pleased to advise that the Charlotte Linux User Group is now
a North Carolina Nonprofit corporation, and officially Charlotte Linux
User Group, Inc.  Articles of Incorporation were filed with the Secretary
of State's office and  we received confirmation that they were accepted
on June 4, 2007.
Our thanks to Ken Robinson who sold two donated computers for us
which generated the money needed for the filing fee.
This is only the first step on the road to tax-exempt nonprofit status but
it is a big first step that has been a long time coming.  Now that the 
ball is
rolling watch for more organizational news over the next weeks and months.
