[Charlug] voip reccomendations

i am looking to buy a SIP / voip adapter to hook several cordless
phones into to take advantage of voip.  i was wondering if anyone on
the list could recommend a good adapter / gateway and service (e.g.
skype, voip busters, google talk) combination.

the best adapter i have seen so far is
http://www.von-phone.com/usb_skype_phone_adapter.php.  this is one of
the few adapters that will work with a majority of service providers.
i noticed that a lot of adapters / gateways are locked into certain
service providers.

i dont need a linux solution but would prefer one.
