[Charlug] voip reccomendations

I don't have any first-hand experience with any provider other than
Vonage, which doesn't let you BYOD. As Sean mentioned himself, I'm
pretty hesitant to switch my company to a full-fledged VoIP system. The
solution I've come up with is to use SIP internally (Aastra 9133's at
our corporate office and Aastra 9112's at our 28 branch offices
scattered around the southeast) and have our telephone service brought
in on a PRI from BellSouth. Yeah, its a lot more expensive (12 channels
and a large block of DIDs will cost us about $600/month), but when your
business is very phone-centric, dollars aren't nearly as important as
making sure phones *work* all the time.

For any of you using TrixBox, I'd strongly suggest having a peek at
AsteriskNow - the web GUI is far, far better IMHO.

Regards,
Justin Moore
