JOB TITLE: Systems Integration Analyst III #ES062

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES:

Candidate will provide Red Hat 5 Engineering development and technical
solutions, system administration and network troubleshooting in a
LAN/WAN environment for Navy Network Operating Centers.  He/She will
help develop new solutions and adapt current fielded products and be
involved in the entire development process to include requirement,
design, test plan, and implementation plan documents.  Individual will
provide Level III help desk support to military and on-site engineers.
Job could involve approximately 20% travel, possibly for intervals over
30 days.  

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and five (5+) years
proven experience in Linux/Unix programming and scripting, and
experience in the analysis or design of systems and development of
technical solutions required. Must have a minimum of four (4+) years
experience in analyzing detailed system factors and alternative methods
of problem resolution on less complex projects to determine feasibility.
Must have experience in RHEL 4 and RHEL 5 servers. Experience in
configuring/troubleshooting Linux, specifically Red Hat, Sendmail, Bind
and Squid.  Teamwork is a must in the environment that we work in.
Coordination and collaboration with other teams will be necessary.
Candidate selected will be subject to a Government security
investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to
classified information.
