The CharLUG January meetings will be held on Saturday, January 6th and
on Tuesday, January 16th.  Both meetings will feature a screening of the
2001 documentary film, REVOLUTION OS, which tracks the history of Linux,
GNU, and Open/Free Software through interviews with the major players
such as Linux Torvalds, Richard Stallman, Bruce Perens, and more.  
The CharLUG website has more details.

The CharLUG Forums contain a copy of the draft CharLUG By-Laws for all
to read and comment on.  We would like to vote on accepting the By-Laws
at the February meetings.

Nominations for CharLUG officers for the coming year are now open on the
Forum.  You can nominate any CharLUG member for one of the following
positions:
	Charman
	Vice-Chairman
	Secretary/Treasurer
	Librarian
	Public Relations Officer
	Webmaster
	New User Representative
To keep CharLUG interesting and vital, we need active hard working
officers.  Please consider what you can contribute and take an active
part in CharLUG's future by nominating deserving members.
